Axle Weighing

The axle weighing scale is designed for weighing axles of cargo vehicles.

Weighing the axles by a portable weighing system helps preventing overload cases. Equipped with a light-weight, portable, aluminium weighing platform, the fully automatic model is manufactured using digital technology.

Each platform has a weighing capacity of 15 tonnes with 0.1% accuracy and requires two AA batteries for operation.

The weighing unit of the system, i.e. the portable digital scale operates with a rechargeable dry battery and allows for printing of data tickets. The system consists of two platforms and a weighing terminal. Starting with the front axles, wheels are moved onto the platforms, the axle weight is read digitally by the weighing terminal and stored in the memory at the ease of a keystroke.

Once this process is done for all axles, the total weight is displayed and printed on a data ticket, which additionally indicates time, date, plate number and the weight of each individual axle.
